Σήμερα όμως είναι 2 Σεπτεμβρίου. Σαν σήμερα στις 2 Σεπτεμβρίου του 1901 γεννήθηκε στη Ρουμανία ο ποιητής Ανδρέας Εμπειρίκος γνωστός για την εισαγωγή του σουρεαλισμού στην ελληνική λογοτεχνία και λιγότερο γνωστός για τις προσπάθειες εισαγωγής της ψυχανάλυσης. Το 1990, 15 χρόνια μετά τον θάνατό του, κυκλοφορεί το έργο ζωής του “Ο Μέγας Ανατολικός” το οποίο λόγω του έντονα ερωτικού περιεχομένου του δεν έμεινε καθόλου άσημο στο ευρύ κοινό. Αυτό ισχύει βέβαια για τα ελληνικά πλαίσια. Δεν ισχύει το ίδιο (και για τον Μέγα Ανατολικό αλλά και για το σύνολο του έργου του ποιητή) έξω από τον ελληνικό κόσμο. Αυτή η γλωσσική και λογοτεχνική επαρχία σήμερα των νέων ελληνικών σαν τις κρυμμένες γλώσσες των ινδιάνων στη πυκνή ζούγκλα, έχει στη διάθεσή της επίπεδα ελευθερίας που στην επιφάνεια του γίγνεσθαι του δυτικού κόσμου θα ήταν επικίνδυνα τολμήματα που μπορούν να στοιχίσουν τη ελευθερία και τη ζωή των δημιουργών ακόμη και των αποδεκτών των έργων. Δεν είναι καθόλου τυχαίο το ότι στο Μέγα Ανατολικό μπορεί κανείς να συναντήσει εκτεταμένα αποσπάσματα στα αγγλικά και στα γαλλικά. Πιστεύω ότι θα αρκούσε να δείξει κανείς μια, δυο σελίδες από τα κατάλληλα χωρία στις διωκτικές αρχές της Γερμανίας για να ξεκινήσει αυτή τη διαδικασία περικύκλωσης του εκδοτικού οίκου, των βιβλιοπωλείων διακίνησης αλλά και των αγοραστών τέτοιων περιεχομένων. Αρκεί να διαλέξει κανείς περιγραφές παιδεραστίας. Το τελευταίο αξεπέραστο σεξουαλικό ταμπού της δυτικής νοοτροπίας. Δεν θέλω να σκέφτομαι πώς θα αντιδρούσαν οι διωκτικές αρχές και γενικά οι ταγοί στην Αγγλία μάνα-πατρίδα του πουριτανισμού καθώς και στις άλλες χώρες με αγγλοσαξονική παράδοση και κουλτούρα. The Great Eastern, (Megas Anatolikos) is the 8-volume erotic novel of Andreas Embirikos. It is the longest text of the modern Greek Literature. The poet dedicated many years of work to this particularly novel. In this work, Embirikos narrates the first trip of the ocean liner Great Eastern (Μέγας Ανατολικός) from England to America. Embirikos describes the Great Eastern as a hedonic vessel, where the multitude of the passengers enjoy love without and beyond limits. During the ten-day trip they discover a new form of happiness and innocence. You can be sure that parts of the erotic descriptions are in many western countries inconceivable, unacceptable and cause of the pederasty scenes, criminal and accusable. Only some little parts of the novel are written from Andreas Empirikos in English and in France. The part below is harmless.
